Crafting Your Own Blackout Poetry: 1.30 p.m. – 3.00 p.m.
Topic: A creative activity for youth aged from 8 to 14. Younger children are welcome if accompanied by an older sibling or parent for an afternoon of fun. Come and create your poem using old book pages, paint markers, sharpies, magazines and stencils. Leave with your masterwork in a frame for all to enjoy.

Jade Wallace and Mark Laliberte write together as MA|DE. Their work has appeared in Prism, Vallum, and Test Centre (Zed Press 2019)
Jade Wallace is completing an MA in English and Creative Writing at Windsor University and has run creative writing workshops.
Mark Laliberte has taught creative writing at the University of Toronto and Humber College. He is publisher of Popnoir Editions and Carousel.
Topic: Learn the art of writing collaboratively in an all age and family friendly environment. Join us whether as a beginning writer/poet or a veteran author along with a friend or a family member or just by yourself and participate in this exciting contemporary literary genre.
